National Centre for Jute Diversification (NCJD), invites proposals from reputed and organized designers, national design institutes or organizations / entrepreneurs preferably having branded product range and export tie-ups, to develop designs in the following two categories.

Creation of woven textile design, using yarn spun from only jute or in combination with other natural fibres, for high value furnishing, floor-covering, wall hanging and designer bag applications and

Development of finished products or other innovative articles using the materials mentioned in (1) above.

Competent and interested parties may submit their self contained proposals in any one or both the categories according to their expertise and experience along with sketch / designs of the products followed by technical details together with the cost of the project including all other terms and conditions as may be applicable. Application may be send to the National Centre for Jute Diversification at the following address in a sealed cover or registered post with A/D latest by 31st July, 04. A small write up on any such or similar projects if any undertaken in the past may also be submitted along with the testimonials if any issued by the retainers / beneficiaries.

NCJD, however, reserves the right to accept / reject any proposal with out assigning any reason.
