JUTE ENTREPRENEURS (CS) SCHEME

In order to provide the necessary impetus to this scheme NCJD proposes to obtain a project summary of viable projects available from all the reputed TRAs. Thereafter NCJD would sequentially advertise to obtain response from potential / interested entrepreneurs for a 1-2 day residential orientation program with the respective TRAs. This program will be a paid program and the fees so paid (say Rs. 5,000/-) will be refunded along with the release of subsidy for setting up production unit.

MICRO-CREDIT / NGO ASISTANCE

This scheme though not approved by the government it is likely that during the early part of the financial year itself the ministry will be able to release the scheme modalities. It is assessed that as per the promotional program that NCJD proposes to take up, nearly 300 such units could be set up with (financial and / or non-financial assistance) from NCJD

Additionally NCJD will carry out the following on felt-need basis

Publicity & Promotion

i. Advertisement

ii. Mass Contact Campaign

iii. Product Dissemination

iv. Media & Publications
