Product Development Scheme aims to develop newer product range and explore application areas where the low-value, eco-friendly renewable source of jute could be put to its rightful use with the involvement of traditional entrepreneurs as well as the new generation of businesspersons. This will culminate into an on-going process, where NCJD will be rendering the necessary impetus for growth of new products and side by side carry on with design development work through product engineering in association with specialized institutions and expert individuals. This continuity will propel the sustainability of jute-diversified products and generate newer growth areas for economic activities across the country.
