Funding Pattern

Support to NGOs under MFS for setting up of Training cum Production Centre will be provided in terms of matching grant, expenditure heads for both grant component and counterpart funding (by NGO) component has been earmarked to ensure result oriented participation of the NGOs in their respective projects.

MFS grant through NCJD: Maximum Rs. 2.00 lacs

NGO Contribution: Matching contribution of the amount provided by NCJD or more.

Disbursement of Grants

Grant is disbursed in installments. Release of the first installment is done after the inspection of the activities undertaken by the NGO as far as possible. During the project period various inputs in terms of technology, design, training and various backward and forward linkages to NGOs will be provided by NCJD. During the course of the programme, periodical feedback on progress of the project will be sought by NCJD from various NGOs. Subsequent installments are released after receipt of the audited Utilisation Certificate alongwith physical verification and assessment of the progress shown by the respective NGO.

Monitoring

In order to ensure smooth functioning of assisted NGO in accordance with guidelines of NCJD and the Work Plan the assisted TCPCs are subject to regular monitoring through physical inspection either by the NCJD officials or authorized representatives.

Support Services

Apart from providing finance for running of a TCPC, various other support services will be provided to the NGOs for better sustenance through skill upgradation programme, buyer seller meet, participation in various national / international exhibitions and fairs etc.
