The tender no. should be mentioned while submitting the tender accompanied with Demand Draft for 10% of the quoted price as earnest money (adjustable with the quoted price or refundable) drawn in favour of National Diversification, payable at Kolkata.

The machines are all lying at Corporation Limited (Unit Birla Jute Mills Birlapur, 24-Parganas, (South) P.O. Birlapur PIN: 743-318 in dismantled condition for easy loading and transportation. The mill representative Mr. P. Chatterjee, Joint President has been requested for arrangement of inspection of the machinery on advance intimation over phone/fax (Phone No. (033) 2420 9821-9822-9823, Fax No. (033) 2420 9828)

Full payment after deduction of earnest money will have to be made by DD drawn in favour of 'National Centre for Jute Diversification' within 7 days of acceptance of the offer failing which the earnest money shall be liable to be forfeited and NCJD will proceed in manner as may be deemed fit. NCJD will not be responsible for any loss documents sent by post.

The last date of submitting the tenders in the Tender Box, in a sealed cover of 4" x 10" superscribed with "Tender for Jute Machinery", is 26^th August, 2004 till 2 p.m. The tenders will be opened on the same day thereafter.
